MIAMI—Emerging markets corporate and government affairs consultancy Speyside Corporate Relations has appointed Josh Bayly (pictured) as head of the Andean region, overseeing operations in Colombia, Chile and Peru, reporting into Mexico City-based chief executive Ian Herbison. Formerly with Lloyds Banking Group, Bayly is a public policy and issues management and has provided consultancy to Maersk Group, Anglo American and H&M.

SACRAMENTO—Kevin Slagle is joining the corporate communications practice at Ogilvy Public Relations as senior vice president. Based in Sacramento, Slagle will provide counsel to clients in the corporate, government and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Slagle was a principal and partner with Capitol Public Affairs in Sacramento, where he specialized in public policy-related public affairs programs. He began his career at Porter Novelli and spent over 10 years at the firm.

BOSTON—Waggener Edstrom has strengthened its North American healthcare practice with the addition of Seth Levine, vice president, and Jennifer Baird, senior account director. Levine brings more than 15 years of marketing and communications, most recently at One to One Health and before that Hill Holliday Advertising and Digitas. Baird has more than 20 years of experience, most recently leading PR and digital marketing for clinical research organization Parexel International.

MINNEAPOLIS—Padilla Speer Beardsley has added Bob McNaney as vice president of crisis and critical issues. McNaney, a former investigative reporter for Minneapolis-based KSTP news, will be responsible for helping the firm continue to build and refine its media relations services. His work includes coverage of the Paul Wellstone plane crash, the St. Peter/Comfrey, Minn. tornado and the I-35W bridge collapse.

NEW YORK—Shelley O’Connor has joined MWW as vice president, consumer lifestyle marketing. Most recently, she led development and execution of the US lifestyle strategy for Fiat USA at DeVries PR. Previously she spent nine years at UniWorld Group as director of public relations and events.
