NEW YORK—GolinHarris has appointed Andrea Morgan as executive director and leader of the consumer marketing practice in New York.  In addition to driving business development for the practice, Morgan will oversee the consumer brands team in New York, which counts Unilever, Nintendo, US Cotton Council, and adidas among its clients. She will report to Tony Telloni, managing director. Most recently, Morgan was managing director at Emanate, overseeing the consumer practice and new business development.

BOSTON—Cone has appointed Rebecca Dickson (pictured) as vice president in the firm’s New York office. Dickson joins the agency’s brand communications team having most recently served in MSL Group’s consumer and global CSR practices, preceded by 10 years at DeVries. Dickson has counseled a wide range of consumer brands, including Procter & Gamble's home care, oral care and fabric care portfolios, Pepperidge Farm, Sam Adams, Gallo Wine & Spirits, Church & Dwight, Hoover, Goya Foods and Pizza Hut.

AUSTIN—Lionel Menchaca, Dell’s chief blogger, has joined the global media and engagement team at W2O. Menchaca reunites with Bob Pearson, former head of corporate communications at Dell and now W2O’s chief technology officer.

LOS ANGELES—Shannon Barr, founder of Shannon Barr Public Relations, a dynamic boutique public relations agency has joined global entertainment public relations and marketing agency Rogers & Cowan. Barr will be a vice president and brings her firm’s staff and clients to the Los Angeles office of Rogers & Cowan reporting directly to executive vice president Julie Nathanson.

MOUNT KISCO, NY—Robin Leedy & Associates has hired Jonathan Kreissman as vice president of client services. Kreissman joins RL&A with more than 13 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods, personal care, beauty, men’s grooming, retail and lifestyle categories. He has worked at New York agencies including Porter Novelli, Marina Maher Communications, and Bullfrog & Baum, on brands such as Campbell’s, Arnold Breads, Coppertone, P&G’s Secret and Head & Shoulders, Thomas’ English Muffins, Gillette, Dr. Scholl’s, and Absolut Vodka.

IRVINE, CA—Joanne Forster has signed on as general manager and PR director of Bolt PR, Irvine. She will be responsible for managing day-to-day company operations, overseeing all Bolt accounts, mentoring staff, and driving new business development initiatives. Prior to joining Bolt, sheowned and operated her own boutique agency, The Forster Group, with clients including The Florida Tomato Growers, Del Monte Fresh Produce, Red Bull, and The Surf Industry Manufacturers Association.          

SAN JOSE—McGrath/Power Public Relations & Communications has named Cheryl Seaberg as director. Seaberg is a former account manager at Walt & Company, a Silicon Valley-based enterprise and consumer technology public relations firm.

NEW YORK—Azione PR, a boutique agency specializing in media relations, brand marketing, event production and celebrity seeding, has added fashion veteran Lauryn Flynn as vice president of public relations in New York. Flynn was previously director of celebrity services at Calvin Klein in New York and director of VIP relations at Burberry in London.
