New people in new roles at GolinHarris, Widmeyer Communications, and High Lantern Group.

LOS ANGELES—GolinHarris has added Emily Reed as associate creative director and Danielle Kasum as designer, both in its western region creator community. Reed previously worked in the entertainment industry at FOX Broadcasting Network overseeing design and concepts for on-air design, web content, outdoor ads and media. Kasum, a graphic designer and app developer, previously worked at Appsnminded, Wacky Puppy Designs and MobiGirl Media.

WASHINGTON, DC—Widmeyer Communications, a Finn Partners Company, has appointed Siobhan Mueller as senior vice president of its preK-12 team and promoted Chris Panetta to vice president and head of research and polling. Also, Christina Saull (Public Affairs) and Jacqui Lipson (PreK-12) have been named vice presidents. Before joining Widmeyer, Mueller was a vice president at Hager Sharp, where she managed accounts for the National Center for Education Statistics’ National Assessment of Educational Progress and the US Fire Administration.

LOS ANGELES—High Lantern Group announced has added Nazanin “Naz” Arandi as creative director, based in its Los Angeles office. Arandi will lead the firm’s creative design practice. Before joining High Lantern, she held senior creative positions with Ogilvy & Mather and Phenomenon and has worked with brands including Tabasco, Mexico, Viking Cruises, Lululemon, Breaking Bad, Cisco, Yahoo!, Mitsubishi Motors, PayPal, Disney, Miramax, and the American Film Institute.
