A former Edelman exec, Klein joins Golin from Klein Curry Communications, the Stamford, Conn., consumer agency she founded in 2012. There, she worked with a wide range of clients including: Little League Baseball, Barilla, Johnson & Johnson, Pennsylvania College of Technology and Olympic champion Evan Lysacek.

CHICAGO—Henson Consulting has named Suzanne Marta as senior media strategist, a position designed to offer clients more sophisticated insights into navigating the media landscape. Marta has more than 18 years of experience in the corporate communications and media relations environments. She has worked as a journalist for The Dallas Morning News, WebMD, North Texas Public Broadcasting and Gannett Corp.’s Statesman Journal (Salem, Ore.), and was most recently a freelance writer and communications consultant.

NEW YORK—Peppercomm has appointed Mike Friedin, as managing director, digital. Friedin has experience consulting with companies including Pfizer, Time, GE, and Johnson & Johnson. He joins Peppercomm from Accenture, where he was a senior executive in the company's digital transformation practice. Before that, he was president of management consultancy Matthew & Grace.

WASHINGTON, DC—HDMK has added Republican strategist Julie Cram as partner. Cram brings more than 15 years of experience in issue advocacy, communications and government affairs to the firm. She served most recently as deputy assistant to the President and director of the public liaison in President George W.
