WASHINGTON, DC—The Glover Park Group has hired Liz Allen as a senior vice president in the strategic communications practice. Allen most recently served as deputy communications director and deputy assistant to President Barack Obama. At the White House, Allen drove strategic communications planning for President Obama’s key policy initiatives and public appearances. She served in several senior roles over eight years as part of the Obama Administration including director of message planning in the White House communications office, director of public affairs for educational and cultural affairs at the US Department of State and Vice President Joe Biden’s deputy director of communications.

SEATTLE—WE Communications has named Dawn Beauparlant chief client officer. In a newly created role, Beauparlant will lead the design, development and approach to the client experience across sectors and geographies. Beauparlant will continue to lead the agency's growing technology sector, as well as oversee some of the agency's largest accounts, including Microsoft and Honeywell. She will report to WE Communications founder and CEO Melissa Waggener Zorkin.

DETROIT—Lambert Edwards & Associates has expanded its Detroit team with the addition of Jennifer Greenfelder as a director and Courtney Schrauben as an associate. Greenfelder joins LE&A as a director focusing on the firm’s automotive practice. Prior to LE&A, she was the director of communications in the automotive market for Steel Market Development Institute and worked with Bianchi Public Relations in Troy. Schrauben worked at the Lansing Lugnuts, Lansing’s farm team for the Toronto Blue Jays.

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Jasmine McGee and Wallen Augustin have joined Crosby Marketing Communications as content creator and social media specialist respectively. Prior to joining Crosby, McGee worked at Possible, a global digital agency, working with Coca-Cola’s social media team. Augustin joins Crosby from Pollard Banknote, where he was a digital account coordinator.
