SAN FRANCISCO—GolinHarris has appointed Fran Lowe as executive director in the enterprise technology practice in its San Francisco office. She will join the firm’s “catalyst” community, responsible for strategy, creativity and connectivity. Lowe has held senior leadership positions at agencies including Porter Novelli and Lime Street Studios PR. The firm has also named Alison Walsh as media director in its New York office. Walsh joins the agency’s “connector” community, responsible for sharing clients’ stories across earned, shared, owned and paid media. Prior to joining GolinHarris, Walsh was an account director at Catalyst Public Relations.

NEW YORK—MWW has added Carl Sorvino as executive creative director to oversee all of MWW’s digital and creative initiatives. Sorvino joins from Edelman Digital, where he was vice president, creative director. Previously, Sorvino led creative strategy at several agencies including Digitas, Boombox, Group DCA, Sigma Group, Hook and Loop and the Cement Bloc. He has worked with clients including Unilever, Pfizer, Samsung, Heinz, The Home Depot, and Ben & Jerry’s.

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Crosby Marketing Communications has hired Lindsey Ellerson Goebel as director, social media and content marketing. She will play a lead role in developing innovative strategies and campaigns to help clients build, engage and activate online communities. Before joining Crosby, Goebel served as vice president, digital strategy for Weber Shandwick | Powell Tate in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick | Powell Tate, she was the lead political video producer at ABCNews.com in Washington, DC.

LOS ANGELES—International film publicist Mariangela Hall has joined the Los Angeles office of entertainment public relations and marketing agency Rogers & Cowan as vice president of international film publicity. Hall joins the Rogers & Cowan team after several years with DDA Public Relations as vice president of international publicity and most recently working as an independent consultant.

CHICAGO—Henson Consulting has added Steve Singerman, former communications director for US luxury wine leader Terlato Wines International, as a senior communications strategist and director of client engagement. In addition, Laura Shulman has joined as senior strategist and director of food and nutrition, most recently from Edelman. The firm has also added Caroline Seume, Taylor Anderson, and Lauren Kerr as account managers.

MIAMI—Schwartz Media Strategies has named vice president Aaron Gordon a partner. Gordon joined Schwartz Media Strategies in early 2008 and has helped to expand the firm’s capabilities in sectors such as real estate, banking, technology, finance, hospitality, law, municipal affairs and arts and culture
