MWW Group has promoted Joseph Becker to lead the agency's DialogueMedia practice, plus new people in new positions at Waggener Edstrom and Maroon PR.

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—MWW Group has promoted Joseph Becker to lead the agency's DialogueMedia practice. As group vice president and practice leader, Becker will oversee the firm's nationwide online engagement team and provide senior digital media counsel to many of MWW Group's top clients. Becker, who previously served as a vice president within the DialogueMedia practice, will assume practice leader responsibilities from Saurabh Wahi who is departing the firm after an eight year tenure to pursue graduate studies. Prior to joining MWW Group, Becker served as an associate director at Peppercom where he was responsible for the overall strategy and marketing activities for the agency's digital communications practice.


SEATTLE—Waggener Edstrom has hired Tac Anderson as digital consulting director for WE’s Studio D. His responsibilities include helping WE clients influence their digital storytelling, specifically through social media. Anderson most recently spent nearly two years at Hewlett-Packard managing the company’s social media outreach and as strategic lead for LaserJet Business Web 2.0. Other experience includes serving as director of new media at BlueLine Marketing and an associate at Scott Peyron & Associates.


MARRIOTTSVILLE, MD—Maroon PR, a Maryland-based public relations firm, is creating two separate divisions, one to handle its sports and entertainment clients and the other to focus on its growing list of non-sports business clients. Tim Richardson will be elevated from vice president to executive vice president and will oversee the sports and entertainment division, while Mitchell Schmale will be promoted from senior account executive to vice president to manage the firm’s business practice.
