New people in new roles at GolinHarris, Sachs Media, and Horn.

CHICAGO—GolinHarris has appointed Farah Speer (pictured) as North America healthcare practice leader, responsible for aligning and expanding the healthcare practice across its North American offices. She will partner closely with Golin’s global healthcare practice co-leaders, Angie Wiles and Sarah Matthew, on strategic growth initiatives for GH’s offices in the US. Speer has most recenty led the Chicago healthcare practice. Prior to joining GolinHarris, she was with Ketchum in New York and Chicago for six years.

TALLAHASSEE, FL—Sachs Media Group has promoted Jon Peck to the new position of vice president of public relations. A former gubernatorial press secretary, Peck joined Sachs Media (then Ron Sachs Communications) in January 2012 as a senior account manager. Peck spent more than eight years in daily print journalism before embarking on an award-winning 26-year career in state government, highlighted by his service as press secretary to Governor Bob Martinez.

NEW YORK—Horn has added Brooke Murphy as vice president, creative director, and Eric Kim as art director in the firm's New York office. Most recently, Murphy was creative director at Edelman Digital and Kim was art director at MSL Group, both in New York.
