CHICAGO—Insidedge, the Interpublic-owned employee communication consultancy, has appointed Linda Kingman as managing director. Kingman, who previously served as executive vice president and marketing director, will lead the day-to-day operations of the firm and report to Keith Burton in his role as president. Kingman joined Insidedge six years ago from sister firm GolinHarris, where she served as director of the corporate communication group. Earlier in her career, she spent seven years as vice president of corporate communications for Kemper Insurance Companies.

NEW YORK—MSLGroup Americas has appointed Mike Russell to the newly created position of senior vice president of sales and business development. Russell, who will report directly to Jim Tsokanos, president of MSLGroup Americas, will oversee new business lead generation across eight practice areas and 19 owned operations and will be charged with identifying and securing national and US-based global accounts in integrated marketing, digital/social media and experiential. Prior to joining MSL, Russell was managing director, business development at Meredith Integrated Marketing, a direct and digital marketing arm of media company Meredith Corporation.

ST PAUL, MN—Allie Fendrick has been promoted to strategist, digital and social, at Beehive. In her new position Fendrick develops strategic digital and social marketing initiatives for the agency and its clients, specializing in research, content strategy, measurement and social media activation. In 2010 she joined Beehive as an intern and was promoted to social media coordinator.
