SAN FRANCISCO—Golin has appointed Keith Martin as managing director of its San Francisco office. WASHINGTON, DC—APCO Worldwide has added two members to its health advisory board: Jack Faris, former CEO of the Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute, as president of the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association and director of community strategies for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; and Lanhee Chen, Hoover Institution Fellow, director of domestic policy studies in the public policy program at Stanford University, and former policy director of the 2012 Romney presidential campaign.

TORONTO—Kwittken has opened a new office in Toronto, Canada, and has hired Kimberly Gibson, account supervisor, to support the new office. Prior to joining Kwittken, Gibson ran public relations programs for Coty's prestige division including six fragrance brands and the Philosophy skincare brand. Previously she spent several years as a communications specialist at Estée Lauder Canada. The new operations will be located within sister advertising agency KBS Toronto.
