Dave Coustan has joined Edelman as a vice president in the digital practice, plus new people in new positions at Lois Paul & Partners and Carmichael Lynch Spong.

ATLANTA—Dave Coustan has joined Edelman as a vice president in the digital practice, leading online strategy development and implementation efforts for the firm’s Southeastern offices based in Atlanta. Prior to joining Edelman, Coustan was blog master and social media strategist for internet service provider EarthLink. He also consulted on marketing, communications, and community application strategy across all of EarthLink's business units. Before joining EarthLink, Coustan was a producer and staff writer at HowStuffWorks. 


AUSTIN—Technology and life sciences firm Lois Paul & Partners has expanded its senior management team with the addition of Tiffany O'Shea as vice president in the Austin office. O'Shea will support the Austin office by overseeing client services and expanding the client base. Prior to joining LP&P, she spent the past six years as the director of public affairs for the American Insurance Association, where she handled both state and national communication initiatives for a consortium of national insurance companies. Additionally, she has worked at Fitzgerald Communications and The Weber Group.


MINNEAPOLIS—Carmichael Lynch Spong has hired Laura Clementi as an associate, representing clients Arc’Teryx, Sherwin-Williams, Electra Bikes, V.I.O. and Cargill Texturizing Solutions. Previously, she was the summer events coordinator for Concordia Language Villages in Bemidji, Minn. In addition, Chelsea DeSousa has been named marketing and business development specialist.
