Executive appointments at Taylor, John Bailey & Associates, Karwaski & Courage, Warschwaski, MWW Group, Winning Strategies, and Lippin Group.

CHARLOTTE, NC—Sports and lifestyle public relations specialist Taylor has added three executives to the leadership team of its Charlotte office, including Mark Riggs, who joins as vice president from Mullen in Winston-Salem and also spent six years at French West Vaughn. Also joining are Bates Grainger as account supervisor from Career Sports & Entertainment in Atlanta and David Garriga as director of consumer insights from Carat Media in Atlanta.

LANSING, MI—John Bailey & Associates has promoted Emily Gerkin Palsrok to vice president. Before joining JB&A in 2003, Palsrok served as deputy press secretary for former Michigan House Speaker Rick Johnson and as a communications specialist for House Republican Communications Services.

MINNEAPOLIS—Karwoski & Courage Public Relations has hired Jill Spiekerman-Carrothers as account director and Mary Baze as account manager. Spiekerman-Carrothers will lead the agency’s agricultural and home products clients and was most recently director of public relations for Whirlpool Corporation, where she directed PR for Maytag, Kitchen-Aid, Jenn-Air, Jade and Hoover brands. Baze brings medical communications experience from her former position as director of communications for Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Wyoming.

BALTIMORE—Warschawski has added Natalie Sobolewski as a new senior associate. Sobolewski has experience in the packaged goods, foodservice, and education sectors for clients including Kimberly-Clark, Solo Cup Company and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, most recently as an account supervisor at SCC Grossman Public Relations in Chicago. She also previously worked for Weber Shandwick and Manning Selvage & Lee. In her new role at Warschawski, she is responsible for media and client relations and day-to-day account management activities for the agency’s clients. In addition, Warschawski has promoted Susan Goodell to the position of senior director. She will assume additional responsibilities for strategic planning, crisis communications, and account management for agency clients and will continue to oversee the day-to-day delivery of branding, marketing and media relations services for international brands. Goodell, who heads Warschawski’s event planning division, was previously the owner and director of Baltimore-based Centerpiece Events & Promotion. 

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—MWW Group has promoted Lauren Selikoff to chief marketing officer.She will lead all of MWW Group’s marketing efforts and oversee creative services, promotional activities, marketing research, and new business development. She will also play a central role with MWW Group clients on brand and marketing campaigns, strategy and execution. Selikoff was previously vice president of marketing and new business development at MWW Group.

NEWARK, NJ—Judi London, most recently President of the South Jersey Tourism Corporation, has joined Winning Strategies in the newly created position of chief marketing officer. Her focus includes guiding the agency’s aggressive expansion in the south Jersey and Philadelphia markets. 

NEW YORK—The Lippin Group has promoted Matt Biscuiti to senior vice president. Biscuiti joined The Lippin Group in May 2004, and is based in the company’s New York office, responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications campaigns for the company’s digital entertainment and new media, television programming and production, and advertising and marketing clients, as well as industry associations and events.
