Racepoint Group has appointed Caroline Kawashima and Tim Hart as senior vice presidents in its San Francisco office; Jones Public Affairs has appointed Dan Springer as senior vice president.

SAN FRANCISCO—Racepoint Group, the technology, healthcare and digital media relations agency that is part of Larry Weber’s W2 Group, has appointed Caroline Kawashima and Tim Hart as senior vice presidents in its San Francisco office. Kawashima joins Racepoint Group from Autodesk, where she served as director of corporate communications. Hart is a veteran health and science communicator and former strategic director of communications at the American Cancer Society.

 

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Jones Public Affairs has appointed Dan Springer as senior vice president. Prior to Jones, Springer provided communications counsel to the executive management teams at CHA Health Systems/CHA Biotech, the Centers for Disease Control, and Valeant Pharmaceuticals, and served as vice president of Beverly Enterprises (now Golden Ventures). The firm also added Tara Goodin as account executive.
