LOS ANGELES—Celine Cordero (pictured), a senior legislative strategist to several elected officials and most recently director of external affairs at Los Angeles World Airports, is joining Englander Knabe & Allen as vice president. Before joining LAWA, Celine served in several high-level roles in the Villaraigosa administration including deputy mayor for legislative and intergovernmental relations where she was also a member of the Mayor's executive team.

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Ryan Smith has joined MWW as vice president, bringing more than a decade of media relations expertise. Smith joins MWW following a more than four-year stint at Rosica Public Relations where he was senior vice president of client and media relations. Previously, Smith served as an account manager at Steinreich Communications.

PARSIPPANY, NJ—Coyne Public Relations has added Chris Cullmann to its health group as director of digital strategy. Formerly senior vice president, digital strategy at Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide, Cullmann has 15 years of digital marketing experience working with clients including J&J/Janssen, Novartis, Merck, GSK, Bayer and Pfizer.

KANSAS CITY, MO—Integrated agency MMGY Global has named Julie Freeman as executive vice president and managing director, public relations. She will lead MMGY's worldwide public relations practice and its New York City office, reporting to MMGY CEO, Clayton Reid. Julie was most recently with Edelman, where she served as an executive vice president and deputy director for the firm's global travel and hospitality practice.

OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL—Lifestyle communications agency JSH&A has added Monica Bhandarkar as vice president of social media and business development, responsible for overseeing the agency’s new business and internal marketing initiatives, and providing strategic counsel to meet clients’ social media objectives. Most recently, Bhandarkar developed and supervised social media and word of mouth marketing campaigns at Zocalo Group.

NEW YORK—Hawkins International has hired Lauren Benet Stephenson as digital media manager for the firm's new digital division. Prior to joining HIPR, Stephenson handled a roster of startup digital clients across the fashion, lifestyle and real estate sectors as a social media and editorial content consultant-in addition to her role as a fashion copywriter for design site Fab.com. Stephenson has also worked as an editor and social media manager at Women's Wear Daily.
