Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has added Keki Dadiseth, former chairman of Hindustan Unilever, to the firm’s international advisory board; plus new people at CRT/tanaka, Carmichael Lynch Spong, Lighthouse Consulting Group and Edward Howard.

WASHINGTON, D.C. Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has added Keki Dadiseth, former chairman of Hindustan Unilever and former director of Unilever’s home and personal care operations worldwide, to the firm’s international advisory board.

 

RICHMOND, VACRT/tanaka has promoted Deborah Myers, health practice leader and general manager of the agency’s Norfolk office from senior vice president to executive vice president. In addition, Jeff Wilson, director of business development, who works out of the agency’s Richmond office, has been promoted to associate vice president/; Jessica Ben-Ari, who works in the agency’s consumer practice in New York, and Sarah Miller-Reeves, who works in the same practice in Los Angeles, have been promoted from account executive to senior account executive.

 

MINNEAPOLIS—Crystal Schweim has been promoted to senior counselor at Carmichael Lynch Spong. Currently she serves clients such as American Standard, CaringBridge, Hasbro, Jarden, Sherwin-Williams and Therma-Tru, proividing corporate communications, issues management, brand marketing and social media expertise. Before joining Carmichael Lynch Spong in 2003, Schweim spent three years as a public relations coordinator and women’s merchandise buyer at Bokoo Bikes, a bicycle and outdoor retail chain based in Minneapolis. In addition, Amanda Pierre has been promoted to senior media relations specialist at Carmichael Lynch Spong. Before joining Carmichael Lynch Spong in 2006, Pierre spent her early career as a news reporter for the Des Moines Register.

 

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Government affairs consultancy Lighthouse Consulting Group has hired Thomas Dower as vice president. With more than 12 years of service on Capitol Hill, Dower brings experience on a broad range of energy and environmental issues.  Before joining Lighthouse, he served as deputy chief of staff and legislative director to U.S. Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) and co-authored the Bingaman-Specter Low Carbon Economy Act.

 

CLEVELAND—Edward Howard has promoted five: Nicole Cibella has been promoted to senior account executive; Carli Cichocki, Melissa Koski and Alison White have been promoted to account executives; and Amy Schuster has been promoted to human resources generalist.
