A native of Rio de Janeiro, Sa has 15 years of experience working with leading brands across the region. Previously, he was global marketing manager at Neoris, the technology subsidiary of CEMEX. Before that, he was promotions and marketing supervisor at Discovery Networks Latin America.  

CHICAGO—GolinHarris has appointed award-winning Chicago Tribune science and healthcare journalist Trine Tsouderos (pictured) as healthcare media director. Tsouderos will be based in Chicago and will report to Farah Speer, executive director and leader of the healthcare practice in Chicago. She joined the Tribune in 2003 and has been writing about science and medicine since 2009. Previously, Tsouderos wrote for People magazine, The Tennessean newspaper in Nashville and The Wilson Daily Times in Wilson, NC.

SAN FRANCISCO—Shift Communications has added Victoria Shaw as vice president in its San Francisco office, responsible for building the firm's portfolio of B2B and B2C emerging brands. Shaw began her career as director of interactive marketing at New Line Cinema in Los Angeles and has also served as vice president of integrated PR at AMP Agency in Boston and as director of client services at Schematic/WPP in New York.

PITTSBURGH—WordWrite Communications has hired Pittsburgh marketing and sales professional Alison Frederick as director of business development. Frederick comes to WordWrite after serving as president of FrederickMarketing Group, a marketing consulting firm. She has held marketing director positions with insurance software provider Ebix (formerly Acclamation Systems, Inc.) and Carnegie Mellon University start-up Wisdom Technologies.
