Agency Veteran Tartaglia Launches New Healthcare Firm

Dennis Tartaglia, a 24-year veteran of the public relations business and most recently a senior vice president in the health care practice of New York-based public relations firm M Booth & Associates, has formed Tartaglia Communications.

SOMERSET, NJ—Dennis Tartaglia, a 24-year veteran of the public relations business and most recently a senior vice president in the health care practice of New York-based public relations firm M Booth & Associates, has formed Tartaglia Communications, which will specialize in health, science and nonprofit public relations and communications.

 

Tartaglia worked at M Booth for more than 10 years, on campaigns for national organizations like the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Columbia University Medical Center and Brookhaven National Laboratory, as well as for biopharmaceutical and medical device startup companies, regional hospitals and health systems, and local nonprofit organizations in New York and New Jersey.

 

The firm will provide services include media relations strategy development and execution; health and science writing and editing; social marketing; policy communications and media advocacy; media and message training; event management; corporate and internal communications; and crisis communications and issues management.

 

Prior to joining M Booth & Associates, Tartaglia held senior public relations positions with the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey.
