SAN JOSE—Airfoil Public Relations, a specialist in public relations and marketing communications for leading and emerging technology companies, is opening on office in Silicon Valley.

Airfoil has worked with clients such as Microsoft and eBay and now supports metro-level public relations nationwide on behalf of Microsoft Corporation as well as national and city-by-city public relations for several eBay categories, projects and subsidiaries including eBay Motors, PayPal and ProStores. In addition, the firm services clients in a wide range of industries including consumer, healthcare and automotive, generating $5 million in fees.

Airfoil co-founder and President Janet Tyler will serve as the general manager for the San Francisco Bay Area office, while continuing in her role with Airfoil’s headquarters operation. She will lead a team dedicated to attracting new business and new talent, while continuing to provide strategic leadership for eBay and PayPal, among others.

“Establishing a Silicon Valley presence was a natural decision for us, with our roots in technology,” says Tyler. “Our clients’ interests span the country and as such, in order for us to best service them, we need to as well.”
