Alan Taylor Adds Motorsports Expert

Sports public relations specialist Alan Taylor Communications has hired veteran motorsports publicist Tim Sullivan, who will establish ATC’s presence in Charlotte, North Carolina.

NEW YORK—Sports public relations specialist Alan Taylor Communications has hired veteran motorsports publicist Tim Sullivan, who will establish ATC’s presence in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Sullivan has led publicity efforts for Bobby Labonte and Joe Gibbs Racing’s #18 Interstate Batteries team in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series the last four years, including Labonte’s Winston Cup championship season in 2000. Prior to that Sullivan spent several years at NASCAR handling PR responsibilities on the Winston Cup and Busch circuits.

Sullivan has opened ATC’s Charlotte office and will support the agency’s current motorsports client partners including NASCAR, Gillette, Warner Bros., Smirnoff Ice, Best Western and others. He will also work closely with the company’s senior managers to identify and develop new opportunities in the motorsports, lifestyle, consumer products and sports and fitness categories.

According to CEO Alan Taylor, “Sullivan brings championship-level experience working with the likes of Joe Gibbs and Bobby Labonte and strong recommendations from people in many corners of the NASCAR world.”
