NEW YORK—Alan Taylor Communications is expanding operations in Charlotte, NC. Brett Jewkes, a senior vice president and member of the agency’s operating committee, will relocate from New York to head the Charlotte office.

ATC currently serves several long-time client partners based in the southeast and several others that have key marketing communications initiatives in the region, including NASCAR, Sara Lee Branded Apparel, Gillette, Diageo and Best Western.

“Creating a stronger presence in Charlotte is a strategic move that will strengthen our overall position on the east coast and position us for future growth in one of the most progressive business climates in the southeast,” said the agency’s chief executive officer, Tony Signore.  “This move will allow us to serve our current client partners at an even higher level and with greater efficiency.”

Since joining ATC in April of 1999, Jewkes has created campaigns for clients such as Nestle Purina PetCare, Spalding Sports Worldwide, Merck, Best Western and NASCAR. Matt Ciesluk, an account supervisor who has been with ATC in New York since 1999, will join Jewkes in Charlotte.
