NEW YORK—Alan Taylor Communications, a leader in lifestyle and sports public relations, has been retained by Alltel to provide marketing communications support for the company’s promotional campaigns.

Based in Little Rock, Ark., Alltel is a telecommunications company with more than 13 million customers and $8 billion in annual revenues that provides wireless, local telephone, long distance, Internet and broadband services to residential and business customers.

“With the addition of Alltel to our family of client partners, we continue to increase the number of Fortune 500 companies and category leaders that rely on ATC for strategic business building and brand building public relations,” said Tony Signore, ATC’s CEO and managing partner.

The Alltel account will be managed primarily from the agency’s office in Charlotte, NC, established last year to focus on NASCAR-related business, with support coming from the ATC headquarters office in New York.
