LOS ANGELES—Allison & Partners has hired Dawn Wilcox as general manager of its Los Angeles office. Wilcox will lead nearly two dozen professionals in an office that generates $3 million in annual revenue across the firm’s four primary practice areas: consumer, professional services, technology and social impact. Clients include YouTube, Boost Mobile, Hasbro, Nestlé USA, Sony and the California School of Culinary Arts.

Scott Pansky, partner and co-founder, who held the general manager position for more than five years, will focus his efforts on growing the agency nationally, with specific attention to the firm’s emerging offices. Pansky will also lead a cross-office team in charge of marketing the firm.

Wilcox formerly served as the general manager for the Los Angeles office of Deen+Black Public Relations, the California public affairs subsidiary of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. She was later a senior vice president at Ogilvy, working on a sports marketing program for the California Office of Traffic Safety.
