Allsopp Joins Memac Ogilvy to Lead MENA Public Relations

Memac Ogilvy Public Relations has appointed Ken Allsopp as regional public relations director for the Middle East and North Africa. Allsopp joins Memac Ogilvy from London and has more than 20 years experience in international public relations.

DUBAI—Memac Ogilvy Public Relations has appointed Ken Allsopp as regional public relations director for the Middle East and North Africa. Allsopp joins Memac Ogilvy from London and has more than 20 years experience in international public relations and integrated marketing, having held board director positions at: Shandwick; Burson-Marsteller; Porter Novelli; Good Relations; and Ogilvy & Mather London.

His previous corporate clients have included Unilever, British Gas, BP, The British Library, Glaxo, Monsanto and Securicor. Consumer clients have included The England Football Team, Persil, Sony, Weetabix, Tate & Lyle, Pepsi, Johnnie Walkerm Guinness, Diner’s Club, Ford, and Philips Electronics.

According to Eddie Moutran, chairman and chief executive, “The demand for professional marketing and communications consultancy continues to increase across our region in terms of both market size and integrating the growing range of complementary channels now available to clients.
