CHICAGO—Weber Shandwick has been selected as public relations agency of record by the Alzheimer’s Association, a leader in Alzheimer’s research and support, following a competitive agency review.

Weber Shandwick’s Chicago office will help lead strategy and implementation of an integrated consumer campaign to increase concern about Alzheimer’s disease, one of the top 10 causes of death in the United States, while raising awareness of the Alzheimer’s Association. The program is designed to motivate consumers, affected and unaffected by the disease, to engage with the  Association.

“The agency selection committee was impressed by Weber Shandwick’s insight-driven approach to helping us raise awareness of our organization and the disease,” says Angela Geiger, vice president of constituent relations for the Alzheimer’s Association. “It will be an important part of our integrated marketing team as we address the growing issues surrounding Alzheimer’s disease in America.”

The search for a public relations agency was led by consultant Jones Lundin Beals.

NEW YORK—Weber Shandwick has been selected by Eggland’s Best Eggs as its public relations agency of record in the United States.
