AUSTIN—Hill+Knowlton Strategies has named Amy McMichael Paddock, senior vice president and general manager of the firm’s Austin office, to co-lead global client service alongside Vivian Lines, vice chair and co-head of client service. Paddock will continue to be based in Austin and report directly to H+K’s global chairman and CEO Jack Martin.

She will initially focus on H+K Strategies’ US-based clients and client management, and will work closely with practice heads, regional leadership and general managers to provide support to the firm’s client leads.

Before becoming general manager at Hill+Knowlton Strategies Austin, Paddock was a managing director at Public Strategies, and before that she was an associate in the equities division of Goldman Sachs & Co.’s New York office, where she provided investment advice and analysis to US-based institutional investors.

With Paddock’s new role, Bill Lauderback has been named general manager of H+K Austin. Most recently, he was a senior advisor at Public Strategies counseling clients on strategic campaign development and execution with particular emphasis on government relations. Before that, Lauderback was executive vice president of Momentum Securities and vice president for governmental affairs of the Texas Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association.
