NEW YORK—Two of FleishmanHillard’s senior analytics professionals are leaving the firm. Christina Liao, the former Coca-Cola head of knowledge and insights who was hired to lead the global analytics practice in November of 2013, is leaving the firm and returning to Atlanta, while Colby Vogt (pictured), who led research and analytics for the firm’s Eastern US region as well as EMEA and Asia, is joining DeVries Global as global executive vice president, business intelligence.

FleishmanHillard confirmed Liao’s departure for personal reasons, adding: “We remain fully committed to our global research, measurement and analytics capability, and soon will launch a search for a replacement. In the meantime, thanks to Christina and her team, we have a strong blueprint in place and will continue to invest in and grow the capability while we search for a new global leader.”

Liao, who was as the vice president of analytics and insights for CMI, before joining Coca-Cola, says she plans to visit family in China before exploring new opportunities in the Atlanta area.

Vogt, meanwhile, will lead a newly-created business intelligence practice at DeVries, leading the firm’s analytics, insights and measurement offerings, based in the agency’s New York office and working alongside the agency’s creative intelligence practice, which is led by global EVP Loretta Markevics and houses strategy, creative and social.

Vogt brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic discovery, competitive intelligence, marketing research, digital research, and audience insights and communications measurement. He has worked with clients including L’Oréal, Samsung, Chase, Genentech, SAP and JetBlue.
