Andree Returns to BASF After Stint at NBA

BASF Corporation has named Tim Andree vice president and chief communications officer. Andree is responsible for all of BASF’s communications strategy and activities in North America.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ—BASF Corporation has named Tim Andree vice president and chief communications officer. Andree is responsible for all of BASF’s communications strategy and activities in North America including advertising, marketing communications, media relations, events, community relations, employee communications and brand management.

“The progress that BASF has made in North America creates communications opportunities that demand someone of Tim’s caliber,” said Klaus Peter Löbbe, Chairman and CEO of BASF Corporation. “Making sure that our story is understood and appreciated by customers, employees, shareholders, and the communities where we operate is critical to maintain positive momentum.”

Andree is returning to BASF after three and one-half years as senior vice president of communications at the National Basketball Association. Prior to that, he served as VP of corporate communications for BASF. He has also held senior-level positions with Toyota Motor Corporation and Canon, USA.
