LONDON—Global public affairs specialist APCO Worldwide has acquired Eloqui, the London-based corporate communications agency. Eloqui has grown into a £1million turnover business since being founded in 2003 by former Weber Shandwick global strategy director Chris Genasi, former corporate director Joanne Milroy and longtime Shandwick Europe chairman Richard Sermon.
Eloqui corporate clients include GE, Ipsos MORI, Unilever, while the firm also works for nonprofits such as Action for Children and the London borough of Hackney.
According to Edward Walsh, managing director of APCO’s London office, “We’re deepening our bench of senior practitioners to meet increasing client demand for corporate reputation services. “This deal brings an exceptionally experienced team of corporate communication practitioners with a strong track record in national and international media management and strategic communication.”
The Eloqui team will move into APCO's London office in Covent Garden this month.
