WASHINGTON, DC—APCO Worldwide has formed a strategic partnership the RiceHadley Group, a firm formed in late 2009 by former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former U.S. National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley and Anja Manuel, former special assistant to the under secretary for political affairs at the US Department of State.

RiceHadley assists CEOs and senior executives at major corporations in expanding their businesses in key emerging markets such as China, India, Latin America and the Middle East. APCO and RiceHadley will work together to assist corporations in their home and destination markets, partnering with them to address the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that arise from a global corporate presence.

Hadley and Manuel will also serve as senior counselors to APCO’s Global Political Strategies group, which helps businesses, governments and nongovernmental organizations better navigate the challenges of operating in a global environment, under the chairmanship of Bill Richardson, former US ambassador to the United Nations and former governor of New Mexico.
