BOSTON—The Arbella Insurance Group, a leading regional property and casualty insurance company, has selected Greenough Communications as its new agency of record. Greenough is developing and supporting the company’s media relations campaigns.

The first campaign focuses on increasing the visibility of the Arbella Insurance Group Charitable Foundation’s Distractology 101 program, which educates new drivers on the dangers of distraction at the wheel. The centerpiece of the effort is a mobile classroom created to change driving behaviors through real-life driving scenarios demonstrated in the company’s state-of-the-art driving simulators.

“We’ve made a significant investment in our Distractology 101 program because we feel so strongly that something needs to be done to stop the epidemic of distracted driving,” says John Donohue, president, CEO and chairman of Arbella. “Greenough understands how important this cause is to us, and they’re passionate about telling our story. Within days of launching Distractology 101, we were on national news broadcasts, letting the entire country know how committed we are to this cause.”
