BOSTON, March 8—The public relations operations of Havas-owned advertising agency Arnold Worldwide Partners are being consolidated with the PR operations of sister company Magnet Communications and will report to David Kratz, CEO of Magnet, in New York. Arnold Public Relations, with offices in Boston, Baltimore, Washington, and London, will continue to operate under the Arnold name.

Magnet became part of the Arnold Worldwide group at Havas last year, after a restructuring of the holding company’s operations. According to Arnold chairman and CEO Ed Eskandarian,  “Since that time, as we had the opportunity to learn more about each other’s organizations, it has become clear there are many benefits to be gained in consolidating operations between Magnet Communications and Arnold Public Relations.”
Arnold PR, which is led by D.A. Hayden, is best known for its work in financial communications and investor relations, and also works in consumer and business-to-business marketing. It has about 20 people and fees of close to $3 million. Hayden will play a “critical role” in the transition, says Eskandarian, but will leave when the transition is complete.

Says Kratz, “We’ve been very happy with our decision to become a member of the Arnold network within Havas. It has allowed us to offer the entire range of marketing services to our clients and they’ve been extremely supportive of our brand. This latest development is a clear sign of that support. Arnold Public Relations will add a talented group of people to our network, increase our geographic coverage and strengthen our corporate and IR capabilities.”
