New business for Adfactors, Strategic Public Relations Group; new people at Waggener Edstrom.

MUMBAI—Vodafone India has appointed Adfactors Public Relations as its new agency for media relations activity in India. The Adfactors team will be led by Atul Takle and will report to Manu Kapoor, external affairs director, Vodafone India.

HONG KONG—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has added Antoine Calendrier (pictured) as client services director, APAC. He will oversee the firm’s corporate communications and issues management capabilities in Hong Kong and across the region. He has worked with international brands including McDonald’s, Disneyland, Danone, and Sodexo Group, most recently as head of corporate communications with Hennessy in Paris.

HONG KONG— Strategic Public Relations Group has been appointed by CapitaMalls Asia to provide PR and IR services on a retainer basis, building on a fruitful partnership that began when the company was first introduced to the Hong Kong media and investors during the run-up to its secondary listing on HKEx in October 2011. SPRG will be entrusted with strengthening CapitaMalls Asia’s media and investor relations in Hong Kong.
