People in new roles at Vedanta, Robosoft; an expanded Asia presence for M&C Saatchi; new business for DEC, PR Solution.

MUMBAI—Roma Balwani, who joined Vedanta Group earlier this year as executive vice president of group communication and CSR, has been promoted to president, group communications and CSR. Balwani was previously head of corporate communications for Mahindra.

DELHI—M&C Saatchi Worldwide is strengthening its presence in India through a partnership with Delhi-based independent creative agency February, which will see the launch of a new Indian agency: M&C Saatchi February. The merged entity will offer advertising, design, digital, social, mobile, events and activation to clients including GE, Adidas, Nando's, State Bank of India and Panasonic Mobility.

SYDNEY—DEC Communications has added new client partnerships spanning food and beverage, consumer electronics, motoring, financial services, technology and property, including AVJennings, CMC Markets, Coca-Cola South Pacific, Tip Top Bakeries, Leica Camera, storePlay, and Trivett Bespoke. In addition, the agency has promoted Sarah Buchanan to the role of account director and has welcomed Rebecca Parry as senior consultant. 

DELHI—Assocom Institute of Baking Technology & Marketing has appointed PR Solution India to handle its national public relations duties.

UDUPI—Robosoft Technologies, a leader in mobile application development, has appointed Lakshmipathy Bhat as vice president, corporate communications. Bhat began his advertising career with Trikaya Grey and has worked in Mumbai, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bangalore with Grey Group and FCB Ulka.
