DELHI—Edelman India has appointed Max Hegerman as managing director, Edelman Digital, India. Hegerman will report to Gavin Coombes, president of Edelman Digital in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Edelman, Hegerman was head of digital at JWT India Group and chief executive officer at Hungama Digital Services. Over the years, he has worked across organizations such as Tribal DDB, India; TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Beijing; and in the US with BBDO, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and Wieden+Kennedy.
SINGAPORE—Changi Airport Group has appointed GolinHarris as its public relations agency following an extensive review. GolinHarris will provide traditional public relations and social media services across multiple platforms. A focus of the two-year retainer will be fulfilling the communication and branding objectives of the airport group through a truly integrated approach.
JAKARTA—Inke Maris & Associates, strategic communication agency headquartered in Indonesia, has joined IPREX, the global network. The firm works across five primary practice areas: corporate and public affairs; issues and crisis management; financial communication; marketing communication; and social marketing communication. SYDNEY—Ogilvy PR Australia has appointed TV journalist Helen Frost to join Howorth, its business-to-business and technology specialist consultancy, as content and editorial manager. A journalist with 14 years’ experience, Frost worked at Channel Nine, Sky News and Haymarket Media. She has joined Howorth to focus on delivering new content capabilities for owned, earned and paid media.
