DELHI—Amit Misra has joined MSLGoup as executive vice president and director of public affairs in Delhi and Rekha Rao as general manager in Mumbai for 20:20 MSL. Before joining MSL, Misra was managing director of Zeno and led the launch of its operations in India. Rao was previously with Weber Shandwick in Mumbai.

PERTH—Magnus Investor Relations + Corporate Communication, one of the leading mergers and acquisitions PR firms in Australia, has joined PROI Worldwide, a largest partnership of independent communication firms. With offices in Perth and Sydney, Magnus will join PROI members firms such as Adfactors in India and Strategic Public Relations Group in Hong Kong to provide financial communications to clients in the Asia-Pacific region.

BEIJING—H-Line Ogilvy has won the digital marketing and communications business for IMAX Corporation. The agency will be responsible for formulating and executing an overall digital communications strategy to promote IMAX Corporation’s core values, history, technologies and films. The work will include planning, content creation and community management for the brand’s presence on Chinese digital platforms.

SINGAPORE—Lewis PR has been appointed as the agency of record for Abacus, a leading provider of travel solutions and services to airlines, hotels and over 20,000 travel agencies. Abacus has charged LEWIS to build its brand presence in the travel industry. The campaign will showcase the company’s corporate expertise helping its travel partners create better customer experiences, optimise business operations and enhance competitiveness.

HONG KONG—Moscow Innovation Development Centre has appointed Strategic Public Relations Group to facilitate its first contact with Hong Kong and China potential investors. SPRG has been brought on board to arrange a roadshow for MIDC, organizing meetings with potential companies or investors who have interest to invest or set up operation in Moscow.

SINGAPORE—FTI Consulting has named Ranjit Murugason special advisor within the firm’s strategic communications segment in South East Asia. Murugason—the founder and managing director of Urban Strategic, a strategic advisory firm established in London in 2003 and currently headquartered in Singapore—will provide senior-level counsel to clients and strategic advice with respect to FTI Consulting’s services offered in the Asia Pacific region. He previously served as managing director and global head of industrials for the investment banking division of ABN AMRO Bank.
