HONG KONG—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide leads the way with 17 finalists in the Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards competition, followed by Weber Shandwick Worldwide and Text 100 with 12 each. Those entries are among more than 150 finalists selected from more than 550 entries to the second Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards competition. The winners will be announced at the first annual Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards competition, which will be held in September at a venue and date to be announced later this week. Several other firms have multiple finalists, including Burson-Marsteller and Hong Kong-based Strategic Public Relations Group (nine nominations each); Hill & Knolwton (eight nominations); Edelman, MSL Group, India’s Perfect Relations, Porter Novelli (including The PRactice), Waggener Edstrom and WPP (five); Fleishman-Hillard and SHJ of Australia and New Zealand (four); and APCO Worldwide, Bite Communications, GolinHarris, and Korea’s KPR Associates (three each).
