BOSTON—Cone has added three new clients across its major practices. The firm’s corporate responsibility practice was recently awarded a project from Avon, a previous client of the agency, while the cause branding team won a competitive pitch for Northwestern Mutual, Mercy Housing hired Cone for its nonprofit marketing expertise.
Cone’s corporate responsibility team will work with Avon as the company continues its commitment to empowering women through economic opportunities and by taking positive actions to end deforestation. Cone is producing the company’s third CSR Report, due to launch later in 2011, and expanding its web presence for CSR storytelling.
Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance has engaged Cone to develop and implement a national signature cause program. Cone will work with the company to engage consumers and communities, and strengthen its involvement in a relevant issue.
The nonprofit team has begun work with Mercy Housing on launching its new brand and increasing awareness among the US audience. Cone is assisting Mercy Housing in attracting corporate partners to help achieve its mission of providing affordable housing and supportive programs to improve the economic status of residents, transform neighborhoods and stabilize lives.
