AxiCom Absorbs Former Enfatico PR Team, Global Dell Account

The public relations team of Enfatico, the WPP agency created to service the global Dell business, will be merged into Cohn & Wolfe’s AxiCom, a European technology and telecommunications specialist.

NEW YORK—The public relations team of Enfatico, the WPP agency created to service the global Dell business, will be merged into Cohn & Wolfe’s AxiCom, a European technology and telecommunications specialist. The firm will continue to operate under the AxiCom brand and will now serve as the global PR agency of record for Dell, while continuing to service other blue-chip technology and telecommunications companies such as Cisco Consumer Products, Intelligent Energy, iPass, McAfee, RealNetworks, and Red Hat.

 

The agency now offers more than 100 communications professionals with offices in London, San Francisco, Austin, New York, Paris, Munich, Milan, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Madrid as well as network affiliates in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

 

AxiCom’s new U.S. operations are headquartered in San Francisco and will be led by Kelly McGinnis, who will be president, U.S. McGinnis led the Dell PR business as chief communications officer of Enfatico for the previous two years. Earlier, she was senior vice president and managing director for Fleishman-Hillard in San Francisco.

 

Kelly will report into Donna Imperato, CEO of Cohn & Wolfe Group. AxiCom in Europe will continue to be led by CEO and founder, Julian Tanner, who also reports to Imperato.
