LONDON—Bell Pottinger Public Affairs’ local government and planning unit has been appointed by Treasury Holdings to manage all community relations and engagement with local stakeholders for the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station. The firm’s remit includes developing a consultation and communications strategy for local politicians and the community, and providing support for all public consultation events and Treasury Holdings’ schools programme.

Battersea Power Station is an international landmark that stands on the largest undeveloped riverside site in central London.  Its redevelopment is crucial to the regeneration of the Nine Elms area, providing new homes, new jobs and better transport links to create a significant new urban quarter in Battersea and intends to be the most sustainable development in Europe.
