LOS ANGELES, September 24—Crisis and litigation public relations specialist Bernstein Communications has announced a new service, offering clients crisis-specific websites that can be launched in less than one hour. Clients pay no design or hosting fees, only the hourly fees charged by BCI for crisis consulting.

“Speed of response and effective Internet communications are critical to most crisis management situations we encounter,” says agency founder Jonathan Bernstein. He says Bernstein is “the first national public relations agency to acquire and use proprietary PIER System technology” that makes it possible to take clients online quickly.

PIER integrates a number of critical communication management functions onto a single Internet platform. Communication team members can log into the system from wherever they are located and can develop materials, edit and upload digital files and track draft changes. Designated members can approve materials online and, once approved, upload the information instantly to the external site.
