Bird's Eye Taps Edelman for Consumer Communications

Birds Eye Foods, a leader in frozen vegetables and a major processor of other food products, has appointed Edelmanas U.S. agency of record for consumer communications following a comprehensive agency review process.

NEW YORK—Birds Eye Foods, a leader in frozen vegetables and a major processor of other food products, has appointed Edelmanas U.S. agency of record for consumer communications following a comprehensive agency review process.  

According to Dave Hogberg, executive vice president sales, marketing and business development, Birds Eye Foods, “Edelman has a strong relationships with the media, creative ideas and a solid track record in supporting successful food brands like Birds Eye. It demonstrated a perfect balance between strategy and creative energy, which made them our clear choice.”

Led by Cheryl Overton, senior vice president, consumer brands, the account will be based in the Edelman’s New York office in partnership with offices though out the firm’s U.S. network. The scope of work includes engaging a range of corporate stakeholders to maximize the corporation’s value, as well as providing public relations support for Birds Eye brands.
