STOCKHOLMBite Communications has acquired Swedish public relations firm Aim PR. The acquisition will add two employees and a number of international clients to Bite’s existing Swedish operation, but more importantly it is intended to enhance Bite Communications’ ability to deliver innovative word-of-mouth and social media communications campaigns.

“Aim PR’s specialist expertise attracted us to the business initially,” says Jenny Nilzon, general manager of Bite Communications Sweden. “Aim PR’s founder, Henrik Östmark, is an acknowledged expert in the area of social media and word-of-mouth communications. We believe he will help drive thought leadership in this space for Bite and add significant value to our wider client base.”

Both Bite and Aim specialize in IT, telecom and electronics with a large number of international clients spanning the Nordic region. Aim was established in 2004 and Östmark was one of the founders, with 10 years of experience in strategic communications and digital PR for IT, consumer electronics, telecoms and media clients.
