SAN FRANCISCO—Blanc & Otus, the technology-focused subsidiary of Hill & Knowlton, has promoted Quinn Daly to general manager of its San Francisco office. Daly replaces Greg Spector, who continues as Blanc & Otus’ president and CEO, and who has served as acting general manager for the Bay Area office for the past five years.

Daly says the firm has made a commitment to invest in the growth and professional development of the people whose high-tech PR expertise extends across business-to-business, consumer and emerging technologies. “We have the opportunity to take B&O’s San Francisco office to new heights with training, creative incentives and growing our environment that fosters great thinking, and helps us attract and retain the best people,” she adds.

Prior to joining B&O, Daly led the marketing communications efforts of a San Francisco start-up, Xythos Software, developing lead generation programs for the content management and collaboration vendor.
