EAST RUTHERFORD, May 6—The MWW Group has promoted Alissa Blate to executive vice president and director of consumer marketing. Blate, who previously served as senior vice president, will continue to direct MWW’s nationwide integrated marketing communications practice.

“Alissa’s strategic thinking, outstanding technical execution, intense personal drive and ability to create strong and lasting client relationships has helped establish MWW as one of the nation’s finest consumer public relations agencies,” says Michael Kempner, president and CEO. “Under Alissa’s direction, McDonald’s Tri-State Restaurants, Nikon, Hard Rock Cafe and many others have garnered national attention for their innovative and results-oriented strategies and have been honored with virtually every major award in the public relations industry.”

In her new role, Blate will also be charged with creating and executing the marketing and branding strategy for The MWW Group as a whole.  Blate and her team were responsible for the creation of MWW’s proprietary “Results Planning Methodology” and several new branded service offerings.

Prior to joining MWW in 1997, Blate served as senior vice president with The Rowland Company. Previously, she held positions with Geltzer & Company and KCS&A Public Relations.
