NEW YORK—Bliss Gouverneur and Associates, a public relations firm representing financial and professional service organizations, has added KeyBank real estate capital and KeyBank public sector finance to its existing KeyBank relationship. At the same time, Margy Sweeney has joined Bliss as a vice president to head the firm’s new Chicago office.

“The continued expansion of our relationship with Bliss is testament to their high level of client service, comprehensive knowledge of our businesses and the exceptional partnership we have enjoyed for several years—all of which has resulted in strong PR results for Key’s institutional bank businesses,” says Pat Healey, senior vice president of public affairs at KeyBank.

Bliss Gouverneur’s relationship with KeyBank dates back to1999 when the firm began working with the Victory Capital Management asset management unit. The relationship grew to include the Key’s investment bank, Key Banc Capital Markets, in 2003, and its private equity group, Key Principal Partners, in 2005.

Sweeney has more than 15 years of business-to-business marketing and public relations experience, with a specialty in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Bliss, Sweeney led KeyBank’s real estate capital media relations efforts for three years at Chicago-based Chaffee Group, where she was vice president and head of the commercial real estate practice.
