BEIJING—The BlueCurrent Group, a Fleishman-Hillard unit known for its digital and social media work, has launched in Beijing, its first operation in the mainland China market.
BlueCurrent entered the Asia Pacific market in 2006. The firms first launched in Tokyo, with a focus on influencer marketing, and expanded in 2011 with the establishment of BlueCurrent in Hong Kong. The firm focuses on marketing communications, brand-building campaigns and crisis management, at the intersection of social media, search and public relations.
In Beijing, BlueCurrent will offer a mix of search engine and social media strategies with traditional communications. Specialized capabilities include brand communications, crisis management, search engine optimization, media relations, content creation and distribution, influencer identification and tracking, and community management.
