NEW YORK—Weber Shandwick has hired B. Bonin Bough, a founding member of Ruder Finn Interactive, as executive vice president of interactive and emerging media. Bough, who will be based in New York, will play a key role on the leadership team of the firm’s global web relations practice. Bough will work closely with Weber Shandwick web relations leaders from practice hubs in Minneapolis, Baltimore, Dallas and London.
For the past eight years, Bough developed and oversaw Ruder Finn’s interactive strategy unit, spending five of those eight years as senior vice president, director of strategy and architecture. Previously, he served as interactive strategic advisor for Neural Net where he worked on projects including the first Jordache website. Bough also founded North Eastern Digital Media, which later became Potomac Digital.
