Boyd Takes International Public Affairs Role with Schering

Schering-Plough Corporation has named Michael Boyd vice president of international public affairs. Boyd will be responsible for leading and managing international external public affairs activities, with a focus on Europe.

KENILWORTH, NJ—Schering-Plough Corporation has named Michael Boyd vice president of international public affairs. Boyd will be responsible for leading and managing international external public affairs activities, with a focus on relations with key customers and stakeholders in the European region and internationally.

He is based in Kenilworth and reports to Tom Sabatino, executive vice president and general counsel.

Boyd joins the company from Pfizer, where he was most recently senior director, government relations, in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he was director, public affairs, Asia and Australia, for Pfizer in New York. He previously worked for U.S. Representative Jim Kolbe (R-Az.) as a legislative assistant responsible for international trade, international relations and agriculture issues. He also worked as an attorney with the General Electric.
