BP Taps Golin/Harris for Indonesia Pipeline Project

British Petrolum Indonesia has appointed Golin/Harris International and strategic communications firm Inke Maris & Associates to develop communications support for the Tangguh natural gas project in Indonesia.

SINGAPORE, March 19—British Petrolum Indonesia has appointed Golin/Harris International and strategic communications firm Inke Maris & Associates to develop and implement communications in support of the Tangguh natural gas project in Papua, Indonesia. G/H and Inke Maris will also provide media relations support for the Tangguh project, a joint initiative of BP and Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company, Pertamina.

In this context strategic communications will play a vital role, both externally and internally,” says John O’Reilly, senior vice president, government and public affairs for BP Indonesia. “Golin/Harris and Inke Maris bring a strong combination of international and local public affairs and public relations capabilities, world-class communications counseling experience and an extensive understanding of the key political, economic, governance and social issues in Indonesia.”
