CHICAGO—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has appointed Judy Brennan as executive vice president and Midwest director of its financial and reputation risk practice. Brennan was a member of Ogilvy's New York team in the mid-1990s.
Brennan has experience counseling C-level clients across multiple sectors and through challenging situations, including executive leadership changes, proxy campaigns, brand/product crises, litigation situations, regulatory issues and support for IPOs and other financial transactions, most recently as senior vice president and director of Ketchum's Midwest corporate and healthcare practice.
During her tenure at Ketchum, she represented the nation's second largest independent mortgage lender during the mortgage loan crisis, one of the original nine TARP banks during the financial crisis, and some of the nation's top health insurers during healthcare reform.
Brennan also spent 12 years at Sard Verbinnen & Co., where she provided strategic counsel to a range of high-profile accounts and handled numerous corporate-transformative assignments, including acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs and IPOs, as well as long-term corporate reputation management.
